Donation Support
Thank you for choosing to donate clothes to Bless Outfit. Every donation you make brings warmth and dignity to those in need. We offer three convenient donation methods; please choose the one most suitable for you.
Donation Support: Making Respect and Beauty Everyone’s Right
In bustling Hong Kong, we believe: poverty should not deprive anyone of the right to feel beautiful and dignified.
Why is Bless Outfit Different?
We are the only charity in Hong Kong focused on ‘precision clothing matching’. We go beyond simple ‘collection and distribution’ to build a system that respects individual needs and values personal choice:
- We Listen: Through our beneficiary database, recording each person's size, style preferences, and real needs.
- We Match: Like choosing a gift for a friend, we find the most suitable new owner for each donated item.
- We Give Choice: We notify beneficiaries to come and choose, making 'choosing what to wear' an exercise in dignity.
Our belief is simple:
Every toilet cleaner, every CSSA-receiving student, every single parent facing financial hardship—like anyone else—has the right to feel good and dress well. Clothing is not just for covering the body; it is a source of confidence, a key to social participation, and an affirmation of self-worth.
If you agree that “Everyone deserves respect, regardless of economic circumstance,” please donate now to support our unique work.

Why Do We Urgently Need Your Donation?
Although our work has gained community recognition, we face significant operational challenges:
1. Zero Government Funding, Reliant Entirely on Public Support
Bless Outfit has never received any direct grants or funding from government departments. We have not been allocated resources under any policy-driven charity support schemes. This means every penny of our operational funds must come from kind-hearted individuals like you.
2. Solely Sustained by Volunteers, Now at Capacity
To date, all administrative costs, storage fees, transport logistics, and even website maintenance have been covered out-of-pocket by our core volunteer team. While this dedication is admirable, it is not a sustainable long-term solution.
3. Critical Shortage of Space
We urgently need funds to rent suitable storage and selection space, allowing beneficiaries to choose clothes in a comfortable, private environment rather than making rushed decisions in cramped conditions.
4. The Urgency to Expand Services
Hundreds of families are on our waiting list. We need more resources to expand our service reach, allowing more people’s ‘small wishes’ to be seen and fulfilled.
5. The Cost of Precision Service
Our ‘matching model’ requires more resources to support:
- Database System Maintenance: A secure, confidential beneficiary needs database.
- Logistics & Transport: Moving clothes from donation points to our centre and arranging beneficiary collection.
- Community Outreach: Proactively reaching hidden, needy families who may not know how to seek help.
- Clothing Processing: Professional cleaning and minor repairs to ensure each item is given in its best condition.
6. Need to continuously build and upgrade the matching system (privacy and traceability matter as much)
To make “precise clothing matching” truly work, we must keep investing in system capability and process management—so that every match is accurate, and every piece of information is handled with proper protection.
- Data security and confidentiality: Continuously strengthen encryption, access control, and data handling procedures to safeguard beneficiaries’ privacy.
- Updating and data quality management: Beneficiary information needs regular updates to prevent mismatches between what is recorded and what is actually needed.
- Optimizing matching outcomes: Use results from real-life matching to refine the rules and classification approach, improving the success rate of transfers.
- Support for front-line service workflows: When beneficiaries visit the center to choose items, they should receive clear guidance and thoughtful arrangements.
Without your support, these improvements can only remain as plans; while the families who truly need help will continue to wait.
